Comedy meets fandom.
K-Pop Comedy Night is a live comedy show where host Kira Weir assigns comedians a K-Pop group they know nothing about and has them research and present their findings on stage. The comedians work without context, so their takes and facts are often wrong, which is, of course, the point.
Founded in Chicago in 2025, the show is built so everyone in the room is in on the joke together: K-Pop fans catch the references and the mistakes, while newcomers get a funny first introduction to the groups.

Kira is a stand-up comic & K-Pop fan who wanted an excuse to yap to a captive audience about her favorite idols, so she created K-Pop Comedy Night.

Nope, in fact, we love having K-Pop newbies in the crowd. By the end of the night, you’ll have learned a lot (or maybe not, who knows).

What should I wear or bring?
You’re welcome to wear your concert fits and merch. Feel free to bring freebies, your entire keychain collection, and lightsticks (as long as they’re not flashing during the show!)
